Chris specialises in helping leaders with pragmatic solutions to tough people issues. He works in the areas of Coaching, Leadership and Talent, Entrepreneurial Leadership, Change Management and Managing Stress.
Chris is a former Managing Director of the executive search firm KornFerry where he ran their European Consumer Markets. His earlier career includes a number of UK and International HR leadership roles with Fujitsu, Guiness, Citibank as well as the Group HR Director for Pentland.
With a particular interest in the Neuroscience of Change and Leadership, Chris is a member of the NeuroLeadership Institute. He is a regular speaker on the subject of Productive Engagement – the ability of organisations, leaders and managers to create and sustain the vital conditions in which their teams drive productivity. He sat on the Macleod Review of Engagement – a committee reporting in to Government on this subject area.
Chris is a Licensed Practitioner in the use of the Insights psychometric tool and is accredited to use Myers Briggs, Hogan, MBTI, Predictive Index and other tools. He has a degree in History and a Masters in Personnel Management. As Director of the Change Programme at Henley Business School he built Henley’s lead change programme and he teaches at Cambridge University at the Judge Business School in the area of Entrepreneurial Leadership.
